Susan Purdue is a 42 year old native Floridian that has lived in Asheville, North Carolina since 1987. After pursuing a degree in Computer Science and achieving her Microsoft Certification, she has been employed (until very recently) as a Senior System Administrator for MedQuist, Incorporated of Marlton, NJ.

Her husband Paul, is a native of Co. Cavan, Ireland having emigrated to the United States in 1998. He was recently sworn in as a naturalized US citizen and is looking forward to voting in his first election.

Both Susan and Paul have been very active as advocates for veterans and more recently in fighting the cause against US companies that outsource American jobs to foreign countries.
